„Eksplikacja” (For English, scroll down)
to wystawa prac Pauliny Taranek w których artystka dokonuje malarskiej analizy miejsc i postaci. Wrażenie powstałe w momencie patrzenia pozostawia ślad w każdym elemencie obrazu – kolorze, oświetleniu, kształcie, fakturze oraz gęstości farby. W wyniku szybkiego zapisu myśli, emocji spoowodowanych obserwacją otaczającej natury, napędzającej do działania, powstają prace przybierające często nienaturalne, czasami banalne formy tworząc pewną dramaturgię w obrazie, historię która oddziałuje na widza.

Paulina Taranek, urodzona w Częstochowie, absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Jana Matejki w Krakowie Wydziału Konserwacji i Restauracji Dzieł Sztuki. Stypendystka programu Erasmus na Królewskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Belgii Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen. Laureatka I nagrody Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu Malarskiego Zadra 2012, nagrody Jury oraz Nagrody Publiczności Magia Dzielnicy Czterech Wyznań 2013 r., a także wyróżnienia w międzynarodowym konkursie na portret G.J Steenke. Uczestnika II Międzynarodowego Sympozjum Szymbark 2013, Nowohuckiego Festiwalu Sztuki oraz Art Fresh Festival w Warszawie.

“Explication”
Paulina Taranek’s exhibition “Explication” is painting analysis of places and characters. An impression is created after observation that leaves behind a footprint in every element of the image; in colour, light, shape, texture, and ink density. As a result of quick thoughts, emotions and observation of nature the work created is often taking unnatural, sometimes banal forms. Thus creating drama in the image and a story that affects the viewer.
Opening Night is on the 14th of October, 2016 at 7PM
The exhibition will be open for viewing from the 14th until the 28th of October, 2016.
Paulina Taranek was born in Czestochowa. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts. Jan Matejko at the ‘Department of Conservation and Restoration’, an Erasmus Scholar at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen, the winner of the ‘National Competition Painting Zadra 2012 Jury Prize’ and the Audience Award Magic Quarter of Four Denominations 2013. Paulina was also awarded in the ‘International Competition for the Portrait G.J Steenke’ and was a participant in the second ‘International Symposium Szymbark 2013 Nowa Huta Art Festival’ as well as the ‘Art Fresh Festival’ in Warsaw.
